Could a.i.'s be scabs?

Throughout my life I have heard that all plots, from humor, murder mysteries, adventures, romances, war stories, and whatever I am leaving out has been thought of and have been used in plays, movies, literature. One-liners, wise-cracks, and so on.

The writers for the movie and television industry are on strike.   Soon we will be sick of reruns.  Well some will.  I am   growing senile these days and there is almost no such thing as a rerun.

Now, enter Artificial Intelligence.  A team of data programmer could take all these stories written, and more or less juggle/ stir them up and you will have new stories without any creative human writers.

Yep, it would be plagiarism for sure, but maybe legal, since it was created by a machine.

And maybe on the same wavelength actors and actresses would be replaced by robots, slap on a wig, maybe lipstick and no more pouts, being late, calling in sick, demanding more money etc.

I’m afraid old fashion  greed would win.
