I was looking over this picture of the cannon on the hill in the Confederate Cemetery overlooking downtown Marietta and I noticed something sinister. That cannon is aimed at my birthplace! I was born in a house across Atlanta Street from where Waterman Street comes in, which is now a grassy knoll of Hunter's Bridge. The house I was born in had long since been bulldozed away, or maybe the cannon shot it!
