Jack Davis, Cartoonist/Illustrator died last Wednesday. He was a great artist Most of the pictures I have here are of his work are from MAD Comic books. But there are also dabs of his EC horror and war comics. And to top it off is an example of his University of Georgia Booster Club UGA. He started his life on Peachtree Road, Buckhead area, Atlanta. He attended Georgia before and after his Navy time in WWII. He was so prolific in turning out excellent art, these examples here are just a fart in a whirlwind.
