New Unique Condos With a View of History

Below is a link to a video portion of an e-newsletter Marietta puts out, mostly promoting downtown.

The video tells of newly built condos which overlook the National Cemetery in Marietta. On one balcony of any condo you have this beautiful green National Cemetery and on the opposite you have a good view of Kennesaw Mountain.

As you know, thousands of soldiers on both sides were killed during the Battle of Kennesaw Mountain. Many of the "Yankee" soldiers were buried in the National Cemetery and thousands of other military personnel of wars since then.

From some of the balconies I bet you can read the military tombstones of the dead of Pearl Harbor attack.

Little did they know, not only were they giving their lives to defend their country, but also their bodies to be conservation pieces for yuppies on their balconies.
