Foster Family of Roswell, Georgia

This is the Foster family of Roswell, Georgia.

The boy sitting between his mother and father is Anna’s grandfather Paul (1895-1936). He grew up to become a Singer Sewing Machine salesman and repairman. He came to your house to repair your sewing machine. I doubt if such a profession exists today.

The picture was probably taken 1905-1907.

I just love old photos, especially when there's a story with them! Enjoyed your blog. I found you from a link on Deborah's :)

Tanya,
Thank you for visiting. I hope you do again.
You have a nice blog yourself - well, two nice blogs on the Breeze family and Breeze genealogy.
I am always looking for something on my heritage too. And at times, I put my findings on this blog.
Isn't genealogy a Breeze? (I know you heard that before).

That's a great old photo, Eddie. I have a cousin who looked a lot like the guy on the upper left.

Judy,
That is Claudius Linton Foster (1888-1965). You and Anna might share some of the same genes.

Your collection of pictures and catalogue must be astonishing. I just have an old cruise box full of priceless pictures that need to be processed. When I was trying to get pictures to put in Mom's slidsehow (http://sinannblog.blogstream.com/), I was surprised how few pictures I had on file for her. Kudos.

Si,
Great pictures! I really like the "May Queen" ... well, they were all good, and represented the times greatly... the time period cars, houses, and all.
You mother appeared to be very lively and lovely.
