United Nations Tapestry postcard

This was in the United Nations when we visited in the early 1970s. It is (was at that time) the largest tapestry ever woven. It was a gift from Belgium.

Notice the warriors. Notice the men pulling up trees, or using them for walking sticks, or something. Look at the scantily clad woman releasing doves. Noticed the woman running from something. Look at the man and woman reclining, with not much on except sheets, and the woman is holding a mirror.

I give up, what does it all mean?

Wait! Let me just take a wild guess: I bet it means World Peace and Brotherhood and Sisterhood Among All Men and Women.
