Arelisha Bridges is charged with killing her 26-year-old husband on March 1, just yards from the Varsity, on North Avenue.
Police said Bridges is registered with the state as a lobbyist for a group fighting domestic violence.
Witnesses said she shot her husband five times.
She was wearing a nightgown with a shower cap during the confrontation. They had been married one week.
