See the gap between the two buildings? There is a stairway leading up to the office on the 2nd level. When I was a teenager James Wilder's radio station WBIE was there.
Billy Joe Royal and Mickey Carlile had a live broadcast playing rock and roll in the earl evening, maybe at 5:00 or 5:30, one or two days a week. A few times I went with them to help out, or be the "go-far", but ended up doing pranks instead.
Now, the first floor is an extention of Johnny McCracken's Irish Bar next door. Years before my time the building was a fire station.
The building is said to be haunted. OOooooooooo...
