Rex mentions Sautee Valley near Helen, in north Georgia.
Sautee is the community my distant relative Leander Newton Trammell and his wife and kids lived for a while. Leander Trammell also had the Trammell House in Marietta built. It is also where my distant relative-in-law Moses Harshaw lived, who at the time was considered the meanest man in Georgia (because the way he treated his slaves).

Also in the Sautee area is a closed covered bridge. It was a backdrop in the movie “I’LL CLIMB THE HIGHEST MOUNTAIN.”
