This MAD article is two stories. Or, these two stores are one MAD article. Same artist, same pictures. MAD editor Harvey Kurtzman creates a typical comicbook plot and then twists it into a typical MAD-touched story. It is like the right side of the brain struggling with the left side of the brain. This story was plucked from MAD number 11.
And following the same picture story is an advertisement for MAD saying beware of MAD imitators illustrated by the same artist, fellow Georgian corn-fed Jack Davis, bless his hide.
