On this date
in 1944 was Duh-Day. It was the day the
allied forces came ashore on the beaches
of Normandy to show the Germans a thing or two.
I had two
uncles there:
My father's
brother Stanley Hunter.
and my
mother's brother Roy Petty.
Speaking of
my late mother Ethel America Janie Petty
Hunter, D Day was her 26th birthday. Today
is her 98th birthday.
