The adj.com had an interesting story this past Thursday. It reported that a 17 year old football player is accused of yanking off an opponent’s helmet and beat him with it. He will face charges.
Here are a few other interesting facts about the assault: The boy who did the assaulting was on the team losing. The team the assaulting boy was on had to forfeit the game. And what makes it even more interesting was the team the assaulting boy was on was Northside Christian Academy of Woodstock and the assaultee’s team was Loganville Christian Academy. Both are Christian schools.
I’m sure it is in small print someplace it is OK and forgivable for Christians who lose a competition be sore losers. It happens a lot.
