Have you ever heard of THE SPIRIT? He was one of the early super heroes but he wasn't super at all. He was an ex-policeman, who wears a mask and wants every body think he is dead, so he fight crime the old fashion way, if you know what I mean.
THE S[PIRIT was created in the 194-s by Will Esiner. I "created" because after he got i started good he stepped aside and had the boys on the assembly line run off the stories for the comic page of funny pages in the paper.
Eisner is highly respected in the comic world and they even have EISNER AWARDS they hand out every year.
It is well done.
By the way, this is one of those times the pages was laid in order from beginning to end but came out just reverse. So, you will have to start at the end and read forwrd.
