On the noon news they told of a hostage situation at Concord
Crossing Apartments on old Concord Road in Smyrna. They had either a drone or helicopter view of
the apartment complex. There were many
police cars and policeman. They
apologized for it not being live, but they don’t show live aerial coverage because
it might give the bad guy information.
Among all the police cars from different agencies I saw a U.S.
Postage vehicle parked with a uniform postman stepping out with a handful of
mail to deliver.
I think there is a some kind of law or regulation that the
U.S. Mail must not be blocked from being delivered. Really!
When he come back to the post office I bet he will have a fascinating
story to tell.
