Did you know
the tradition of the President of the United States Pardoning Turkeys from getting beheaded started off with
Truman? Or did it? I read that Lincoln did it also. And maybe some off and on since then, but
Harry S. Truman kicked off the traditional officially.
I do not
know for a fact, but would not be surprised if Obama got criticized for pardoning
the Thanksgiving turkey. To some, he can't do anything right.
I am almost
sure some people will search for a reason to criticize his every move.
Like, why
did he pick a white turkey to pardon?
