Don't Throw Out the Baby With the Bathwater

Back years ago there were parts of the house that work was done in, for instance the kitchen was a room for production like it is now.   The porch was another example of a working part  for of the house.  You can tell this is a working back porch.  It is probably also where you threw  the used water outside and hope you didn't throw a baby out with it.

It was the house of my grandfather's brother John Hunter's daughter and her husband, Emma Hunter and Andrew Abercrombie on Putnam Ford Road in Woodstock, Georgia.
