This is the parking lot behind McCracken's Pub on Atlanta Street. It is almost empty of cars isn't it? This picture was taken years ago on one of my Sunday morning bike rides in downtown Marietta.
Do not park here! There was a story in the Marietta Journal not long ago saying the owner was having wheels booted on cars parking there without permission.
In fact, fairly recently we parked there and as I adjusted our car into a parking space we looked up and saw a big sign staring at us saying there will be a penalty for parking there, no exceptions.
Wisely, we backed out and went on our way.
