The Atherton Drugstore Explosion on Halloween Night 1963 in
Marietta, Georgia.. Several years ago
the Marietta History Center provided a forum for people (survivors) who were
here stand up and tell their memories of that horrible night. I took this picture of Dr. Jonathan Swift and Jim Lamer.. Jim was injured in the
explosion and rushed to the hospital and the good doctor saved his life.
