Chicken Soup Medicine

I read in UNCLE JOHN’S BATHROOM READER that chicken soup sales increase about 60% during flu season. 

I bet Mexican restaurants selling chicken soup sales are up during sickly seasons too.  That is when we buy it and it seems to work.  Maybe it is what they put in their chicken soup or omit that does the trick.   Or maybe it is just the pseudo medicine we think we need.
