Howard
Simpson and Johnny Sinclair in 2010 at our high school class 50th Reunion. They both played well on the same winning
Marietta High School Football team in 1960.
Recently
someone who was probably in grammar school in 1960 told me in minute details of a
close game with a rival team, Roswell, I think, and the spectators' brawl aferwards.
Howard and
Johnny was mentioned a bunch of times.
I politely
nodded and tried to look like I was interested.
But I knew I would forget the details within ten minutes.
I'm glad I
wasn't tested on it.
