Minutes of the GOP(eople) Meeting

First of all, the GOP(eople) Party kicked off a parade with the guests of honor, the Mayor Elect, Larry Bradford and Vice Mayor Elect James Caudell.*

It was one of those one car parades and the marching band got lost at the first turning a corner (they went straight).

A photographer from the Marietta Daily Journal mingle among us and took pictures and took names. He also took one big group picture and ate a hamburger.

This time ring-leader Monty Calhoun saw that we had blue table clothes and he and his vice-cook (french fries chef) Chip Newport had on masculine (no frilly flowers) solid color aprons. Rupert Raines brought the tomatoes that his cousin grew and became the official tomato cutter and later got promoted to official hamburger flipper.

















We, who used to know each other as teenagers, mingled and reminded each other of some embarrassing times.
