On today's Uncle John's Bathroom Almanac Daily Page A Day Calendar today tells of an electric battery in the National Museum of Iraq. It is a clay jar containing a copper roll and a cooper disc with an iron rod. They discovered if they fill the jar with vinegar it puts out about 2 volts of electricity. It is dated c200 B.C.
I want to know while they were making the tests did a mechanical rabbit roll by beating a drum?

I would not surprised if it was looted out of the museum recently. Sigh. Mechanical bunny or not, it sounds cool.
Suzanne,
I didn't think of that, I bet it was looted.
Uncle John's writer went on and elaborated that they probably linked a series of batteries and used them to electroplate gold onto silver.
The way I think about the people of that area and also all kinds of torture laws being violated, I bet those ancient batteres could send a strong torture shock to a man's testicles. Wait! Now I bet they were looted!
You know it did, Eddie.....LOL
