Views From Our Windows

The view with no man-made structures is the front view. Notice the distant mountain rige?

The view with the man-made structures is the side view, in the bottom, of the picture just above the tin-roof line is the Little Tennessee River. It also flows in and around the hills we would visit next, the stomping grounds of my ancestors.

And then I saw an insect on the window studying me.... MOTHMAN!!???!

That skeeter looks almost as fierce as you on your bike.

I was wondering if it was skeeter. I thought a skeeter had a long beak or straw for sucking blood, which this doesn't have. I wonder if it is a male skeeter - I think I read that only the females skeeters are blood suckers.
