Ridley Genealogy 13 the last segment
Ridleys of long ago in Murray County, Georgia. Actually the group picture is the students of Calvard School in Murray County, which had several Ridley students.
On this last segment I would like to go back to the beginning of the Ridley's in America. There was a Matthew Ridley who owned the ship THE RANGER, which was the first commissioned ship for the United States. Matthew Ridley made numerous trips across the pond to France carrying John Jay and Benjamin Franklin to peace talks. I think he is related, I just haven't figured out the link yet.
now, own with the last segment.
