The Lovell Sisters' Concert @ Kennesaw U

Last night we went to a concert of the Lovell Sisters at Kennesaw University. They are good! They are young. The youngest is 16 and the oldest is probably 20. They know their bluegrass and play it well. They also did some great Jimi Hendrix and Johnny Cash.

Before the concert Anna and decided to find a restroom. We went in a building that said KEEP OUT, PLAYERS ONLY. Earlier when I was scouting for a restroom a man standing outside the door with that sign on it said go ahead, like everybody else.

While I was standing outside the ladies restroom from down the hall walked a young lady. When she walked in the restroom Anna recognized her as one of the Lovell Sisters. Anna told the girl she just bought a CD of theirs online and it was downloaded. They had a nice conversation and the girl was very nice.

By the way the Lovell Sisters live in Calhoun, Georgia, when they are not on the road. Just last month they did something like four shows with Elvis Costello.

Good show!

Before the performance I was watching a bunch of people that were apparently in a large group having a buffet. I am not sure they knew each other that well, they had name tags. Many of the ladies had on low-cuts... and well, they bent over to prepare something or cut something and I'm sure I was not the only male in the vicinity that studied what effect gravity had on those melons.

Also, I noticed everyone there were drinking wine. I came to the conclusion that it was a social requirement with that group to hold a wine glass, half full (or half empty) in a dignified manner, and make sure your name tag was not upside down.
