Not long before before MAD #8 came out more than one lawyer representing different MAD's previous targets threatened lawsuits gave an onslaught of legal jargon.
So, to make fun of all the legal hassles MAD found itself in they labeled THIS IS A LAMPOON all over this story.
They sure didn't take themselves seriously did they?
In this story Wally Wood did the art work. Many people felt that Wally wood's work was the icon of MAD. They have a point. Speaking of points, check out Wood's babes' knees.
