Paul's Model A

A friend I grew up dropped by yesterday. He was driving his toy, a Model A that he has restored.
Note, look closely on the hood. There is a smashed cartoon bug.

Henry Ford was a genius. There's a great book about him (that's just a bit too long) called "Wheels for the World" by Doug Brinkley. He even made sure all Model T's were painted black because it was the cheapest paint to use....

He was a genius, or it appears so.
Maybe all he got more than his share of genius genes and got shorted on the humane genes.

Yeah that whole hanging out with Hitler thing was a little...uh...over the top, not to mention he runied his son's Edsel's life for no reason.

I think I put Henry and John D. in the same boat. The were both filthy rich greedy penny pinchers who knew how sock it to the little man.
And they even favor each other somewhat.

Kenju,
There are actually two cartoon bugs on it. One on the hood like I mentioned and the other one is half-way in the door, it looks like some one slammed the door on him splattering bug gue.
