You might remember the cartoon strip "Li'l Abner" and in it was the Kissing Rock where young couples would court.
Not only does this Rock cover secrets but it is also a kissing rock.
The girl on the left is my mother, her boy friend, her sister Opal, her boyfriend, and on the far right is there little sister, who I am sure plays the role of the universal pest when someones is courting.

I loved Li'l Abner.
And I was the pest when my older brother and now sister in law were dating, lol! I had a little rocking chair that I'd pull up in front of them on the couch and sit and rock, then when they smooched I'd yell, "Ewww, they're sucking each others lips!" Then my mother would come dashing into the room, LOL!
I was the pest with my older sister too.
I should have kept myself out of her business, her beu later owned an insurance agency and ran for Governor.
But he also died too early in his life.
Also: I loved Li'l Abner too. Well, I thought it was a pretty good mockery of human greed and all, that the residents of Dogpatch seemed to magnify.... although the last few years Al Capp seemed to get more and more right winged, so I started to ignored him more.
Several years ago I started collecting hardbounds volumes of Li'l Abner books, one per year of comic strips - and I got up to volume 27 and the publishers quit - which is just as well, that is about when I would have started to turn my nose up at his politics anyway.
