50s Trivia

Were you alive in the '50s?

as I mentioned just a few days ago the opening splash (I think it is called) of the article lampooning "This Is Your Life" drawn by Will Elder just about covers the whole headliners who's who of that time time period, was in Mad Magazine.

My old friend El Postino numbered almost everybody in that splash and identified them and more times than not, gave a quick run down on his bog Paranoia Runs Deep.

Check it out, you may learn something or if you can figure out who the two unknown people are, you might teach something.

I was. Graduated from Lewisburg Joint Hig School in 1954.

Need to go by the website you mentioned. Paranoia runs deep and everyone hates me for it.

That was neat. Hit about 2/3 of them but recognized all from paranoids list.

Si,
My oldest sister graduated from Marietta High School a year after you.

El Postinio's Paranoia Runs Deep is a very thoughtful, educational, and entertaining blog.

We bumped heads on a MAD bulletin board about 10 years ago.

The lady painting stars on the gen'rul's arm might be Grandma Moses, Mary Anna is her first name.

Jean,
I didn't know Grandma Moses first name was Mary Anna.
You are probably right. El Postino received an email from a friend of his that also thought the tattoo artist was Mary Anna.
