Keep It Short Stupid! or KISS!
From what I observed with my own blog entries, a short blog entry is more likely to be read than a long detailed entry.
When you write a long entry you are asking a lot from the reader: To read on and on. That is time consuming. Everybody is pressed for time and looking at their watches these days.
I try to keep it short but sometimes I just can’t help it, I just go on and on.

I do the same thing, Eddie. Suppose we're just tooo original for most folks? Everybody talks in soundbytes these days, like aliens, lol!
Carolyn,
YOU are original and talented with the word and also music. I, on the other hand, just don't know when to shut up.
I read them all - short, long and in-between!
I don't mind reading the long ones. However, I've been super pressed for time lately, so I have not been commenting as much. I say write what you like. You can't please everyone, so you might as well please yourself.
Well, I totally agree and think the bloggity blogs do get more traffic....but then on the other hand, when i write those Tolstoy War and Peace type entries most of the time it is because i really have something to say. Those are some of the ones I am most proud of.
I don't know if I have all that much valuable stuff to say, I just sort of fake it.
TY Eddie! :)
Carolyn,
I can't even fake "TY". What does TY mean?
