Anna's father side. Homer Jackson Prance(1886-1961) was born in Cobb County and died in East Point, Ga (the Atlanta Airport area). He married Louise Cora Smith (1890-1976) on 25 June 1913 in Americas, Ga. Americas is just several miles from Plains, Ga (Jimmy Carter's home). They had 5 children, 4 sons and 1 duaghter.

My dad was born and graduated from high school in the early 1940's in Americus.
I know that Smith is a common name. But Rosalynn Carter's maiden name was Smith. I wonder if she is any relation to Cora. Being that she was from Plains, you never know.

That is a new thought to pursue that I haven't considered. Although the name Smith is a common name, that area is not tne most populated area in Georgia.... possible.
