O.M. Doug
Davis died Wednesday at age 76. Doug
told me one time his parents owned a restaurant/gas station on the 4-Lane at
Clay Street. I know of the one the
Nesmith family owned but I cannot place his family's.
Doug was a
fixture and behind the scenes worker at the Bell and Varner Reunions.
He was a
easy going good person.
