Today, we open MAD Comicbook #17 kiddies! Harvey Kurtzman, editor, was very innovative and experimental in taking new chances in MAD, which I think is one of the reasons it was considered unique. In this story he shows the light funny side of Maggie and Jiggs with artist Will Elder, but then he shows the the grusome side of what would really happened if someone got hit by a flying plate with the art by EC's artist Bernie Krigstein.
