The Great Halloween Turnip



Ireland Halloween tradition was that the Jack-o'-Lanterns were hollowed out turnips.*

The tradition came to the in United States in the 1800s and Pumpkins replaced the turnips.*

Now, you know just a wee bit more by reading Chicken-Fat than you did two minutes ago, even it is plagiarized, but reworded, material.
