Clark & Morena Dyer circa 1880's
Micajah Clark Dyer was an inventor and patented a flying machine 12 years befor the Wright Brothers maiden flight. The incredible thing is he tested and flew his flying machine in the isolated mountains of Choestoe in Union County.
Also there is an excellent book FLYING OFF RATTLESNAKE MOUNTAIN by Sylvia Dyer Turnage about Micajah Dyer and his flying machine.
On his toombstone at Old Choesoe Ceemetery is a copy of his patient:
