Late Uncle Jack & Late Cousin Frank Hunter

My uncle, the late Jack Hunter and his nephew, (my cousin) the late Frank Hunter at a Hunter Reunion. Jack was in the Navy a Pearl Harbor survivor; He also is known for saving Eddie Rickenbacker's life in the Pacific. Once the convenience store clerk at Roswell Road and Old Canton Road was shot and killed. People not knowing that, continue to pump gas and when they got inside, not seeing the clerk, placed the gas money on the counter. A TV reporter that arrived when that was happening was amazed at the people's honesty. Frank Hunter was one of them. He was interviewed on TV and said honesty is the best policy. Frank one time ran for a Cobb County Commissioner. I made calls in his behalf. It is the first and last time I was a volunteer for a political candidate.
