Ruins of Waterman Street School

A few years ago I dropped by the site Waterman Street  Grammar School was on.  All the cement and stone ruminants left behind represented memories of my most formative years.

However, thanks to Walter Gaines, who lived across the street, he saved me a brick when it was bulldozed away.

Click on picture to make it bigger and sadder.

Then, I looked across the street (below) and down the hill, and saw the big vacant lot that used to be the Clay Homes.

Sound effects:  Shower stabbing music from PYSCHO.
