There we were just hanging out in almost the same spot on this earth we hung out at about 50 years ago. We loitered and lolled around in little groups just like the below. Varner's Drive-In used to be here in the 50s and 60s. Now, it is a parking lot for Burlington Clothes Store.
We all met to have our picture taken for the upcoming Varner's Reunion of April the 25th.... we showed up but through a mix-up the photographer for the paper didn't.
But we did what we do best when together - hang out and chat.

No, my 7 year old Chevvy pickup is out of view - the only thing antique about it is the old dent on the tailgate.
