Trip to Canada

In 1973 we went to see our friends Linda and Joe in Toronto. They moved there about a year before. Why do you suppose they moved to Canada in the early 70s?

On the drive back, someplace in Tennessee, on the radio we heard that Spiro Agnew had just resigned from being vice president, which was October 10, 1973.

We stopped by Niagara Falls and took a boat ride on the Maiden of the Mist (above). I forgot the name of the movie but Marilyn Monroe also took a ride on the Maiden of the Mist.

This is Joe and I up in a big tree on the grounds of a Toronto Park. It was Canada's Thanksgiving Day, which, if I remember correctly, was our Columbus Day.

This is Linda and Joe in the same tree. I wonder what ever happened to them.
