Ridley's pretty much infested North Alabama and the top half of Georgia. There is/was a Ridley, a tv repairman, who lived in Ringgold, Georgia, who was accused of holding his wife a prisoner for 25 or so years, finally starving her to death. He was found innocent in a court - the same thing happened to his mother-in-law who lived with them.
There is a "Ridley Community" in Chatsworth (Murray Co)along with a Bridge ;) I am related to the Ridley that held his wife hostage, a very sad affair. Jody Ridley the Nascar driver is also my cousin.
