Thou Shall Not Kill.

The above is the 6th of the Ten Commandments written in stone. What was not carved on the stone tablet was the small print of exceptions or loopholes:

Unless in war.

In self-defense.

Protecting one's property.

In executions.

In the name of a religion (any).

Euthanasia of animals to prevent overcrowding.

Hunting wild animals for the sport (or fun) of it.

Ok to kill insects.

Ok to kill for food.*

*as a matter of fact, the Earth’s animals’ ecological system is based on killing each other for food.

We humans can find excuses for everything, can't we?

Judy,
You are right we can. We can justify anything. It falls under the "Do it now and apologize later" clause.
