Yep, my mother, Ethel America "Janie" Petty was born June 6, 1918, in Gillette, Wyoming. Eighteen years later she married and her last name changed to Hunter.
One time I Googled Gillette to see what they are known for. They were at one time the Women's Mud Wrestling Capital.
She died in 1996.
