Not to be confused with the Wright Brothers. I like the "downhome" look of this picture. The one of the left is Lessie Wright, Anna's grandmother. The other two sisters: Maude who married Lem Guffin and Lilla, who never married.
A lovely old photo, in which I focus on the porch swing! All houses used to have them, and I spent hours in a swing like that when I was a kid. I still want one!
I remember people having their porch swings like that. And if you lived downtown you could sit in your swing and talk to your neighbor walking on the sidewalk. Those were the days my friend, that we thought would never end.... La la la la de doo!"
