Watching THIS IS US on TV tonight one brother felt like he was in big trouble because he wore the wrong kind of tennis shoes which generated a note from his teacher to his parents telling of his misdeed. His brother saw him worrying over the teacher’s note and volunteered to take care of it. As soon as he received it he signed their mother’s name. Problem solved. That reminded me of Nancy M. Nancy signed many notes. “OK FOR MY SON EDDIE TO PLAY POOL AT THE PASTTIME GRILL.” or PLEASE EXCUSE EDDIE FOR BEING OUT OF SCHOOL FRIDAY, HE WAS SICK.” Nancy took care of us.
