It is getting that time of life that I hear and read of more of my old school chums that have died. And of course, also dying are ex-coworkers and kin folk. Dying is as natural as living and as sure as taxes.

Had not thought about Bobby Cole in years, and then recently saw his obit in Tech alumni magazine.

Didn't know about Bobbie Cole, used to see him around Healthplace from time to time.

Mrs. Leonora Ferguson Mintz died in Rockmart last week, one hundred years old. She taught school for 30 years, many children were her students. She's the end of an era of the right kind of teachers who expected children to behave and perform.
