Bill Rampley studying and photographing the Southern wildlife at the Varner’s Reunion.

My high school chum Bill Rampley made a TV pilot he named SOUTHERN COMFORT. He looked at happenings and traditions that make the South and southern living unique.

You might remember I had a post about it in October 2008.

Bill Rampley’s SOUTHERN COMFORT will be shown on the Georgia Public Broadcasting Channel (PBS), Channel 8, on May the 29th at 7:30 pm. Try to catch it, you will love it, even if you do not have a southern accent.
