Say the three big U.S. auto makers CEOs went to Washington, DC, to plead for money for a bail-out because their companies are on the brink of bankruptcy and they each were flown to DC by their private jets?

I agree. I watched them on the news and listened to all of the experts. Love my red Grand Marquis but am ashamed to be driving a car made by one of them.
See what the Bailout caused? It's never gonna stop! Now every major company in US will be begging for a bailout.

It was probably more practical to go by corporate jet - but the symbolism did more harm.

Yep. And I have yet to put out my palm for my bailout. The Eddie Hunter Company needs millions or their will be far reaching disasters economic disasters.
