POT SHOT PETE was drawn and illustrated by editor Harvey Kurtzman. Although, he probably was not the editor when he created them. Before he came to EC he was a freelance comicbook artist and sold a lot of this type of comic art to Marvel editor Stan Lee who used them as fillers. This cartoon might be recycled from the early MARVEL comics.
