On TV the other day we watched A WALK IN THE WOODS starring
Robert Redford and Nick Nolte. It was
about two old farts who, bored with life, decided they need a new challenge,
like walking 2000 miles up the Appalachian. Others known star brieflys in the movie were
Mary Steenbergen, Nick Offermen, and Krisen Schall
The movie was a combination of many stories told before.
Being a native Georgia who has been to North Carolina many
times I saw many familiar landmarks and the real local extras. That is why I sat through it.
