We watched THE PEOPLE CHOICE AWARDS on CBS last night. We spent a good deal of the time saying, “Who is that?” or “I never heard of that show (or group)”.
We see our share of movies but don’t see many sitcoms or drama shows on TV.
However, one thing that perked me up was the name: THE PEOPLE CHOICE AWARDS? That name sounds socialist or communist inspired doesn’t it? People’s choice! Bah!
Of course everybody knows it is up to our leaders to decide what we like to watch the best – it is just un-American to think otherwise.

Not a big TV watcher so that pinko hippy communist show did not get my attention. Cyrano did, however. "What is this that I see before me?" Even that gave way to listening to "Western Swing" on Pandora. "Ragtime Cowboy Joe".
It is a world full of people with no taste. They do not like the few shows I like.
And our leaders? Is Cheney telling us what to watch? Hmmm. Interesting. Might be so.
I tried watching that - but it was just inanity at its best. I like Queen Latifah, but NOT as a host! I thought if I heard "Let's all give it up for....." one more time I'd puke, so I turned it off.

I like Queen Latifah too in selected parts. She did great with her knowingly smile as the jailhouse marm in CHICAGO.
